Why Our Pub is Great
Just five miles from Cardiff City Centre, the Ffynnon Wen, meaning ‘White Well’ is located in Llanishen. Our focus has always been on the family dining experience serving great quality pub food alongside a specialist selection of drinks including everything from local ales and world beers to house-made cocktails and Prosecco by the glass.
With our history as a pub firmly ingrained in our original 17th century farmhouse building, we have ensured that our modern, yet cosy interiors have been done sympathetically to the building’s history. Big velvet chairs, hardwood flooring and defined dining and bar seating areas means that the whole family can dine out in style – we even have tables with built in games boards for the little ones (or even the grown-ups) to enjoy!

Begin with generous sharer platters, and then choose from an irresistible array of goodies. We’re fussy about our food. It has to be spot on. Steaks are masterfully chargrilled and complimented by sides specifically designed to bring out their succulence and slightly sweet, smoky flavour.
